I’m Ellis Bristow, a 21 year old actress based in New York. My training is for TV and film, but I got my start in theatre. Through local plays and musicals, I discovered my love for acting.
When I’m not studying math at Trinity College, I’m either on stage at school (Hamlet, Discovering the Holy Body), performing in New York (A Sketch of New York, Redneck Rodeo), or making the trip to LA to work on my technique (Stella Adler, AMDA, Ruskin School).
One of my goals as a student of mathematics and an actor is to increase interest in STEM. I’m hoping to show my audience that you can explore the sciences without sacrificing creativity. In fact, by studying math I am able to apply logic to my acting and be more creative.
I’m also a guitar player, ballet dancer, pole vaulter, philosophy minor, and former fraternity brother.
